I am a UK-trained Consultant Rheumatologist with over nine years’ NHS consultant experience and more than 15 years in specialist practice across the NHS and private sector. I hold a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Rheumatology and am fully licensed with the General Medical Council.
During my career, I have helped thousands of patients manage arthritis, autoimmune conditions, and complex rheumatological problems. What sets my care apart is a patient-first approach. I believe in listening carefully, explaining clearly in plain language, and working together to create a treatment plan that fits not only medical needs but also lifestyle, work, and family priorities.

I provide tailored care for a wide range of rheumatological conditions, including:
Comprehensive care for all forms of arthritis — including rheumatoid, psoriatic, osteoarthritis, gout, and ankylosing spondylitis. My focus is on reducing pain, preventing joint damage, and improving mobility.
Expert management of autoimmune conditions such as lupus, Sjögren’s syndrome, vasculitis, scleroderma, and myositis. I create personalised plans that control inflammation and protect long-term health.
Assessment and treatment for osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease. I help prevent fractures, strengthen bones, and guide safe lifestyle and nutritional support for better bone health.
Support for fibromyalgia, chronic back pain, and related fatigue syndromes. I provide structured management plans focused on pacing, gentle activity, sleep improvement, and overall wellbeing.
Diagnosis and management of conditions like polymyalgia rheumatica, giant cell arteritis, reactive arthritis, and other systemic inflammatory diseases that require timely intervention.
Treatment for bursitis, tendonitis, enthesitis, carpal tunnel, and nerve entrapments — often managed with ultrasound-guided precision for comfort and relief.

I explain your condition and treatment options in plain language so you feel confident and fully informed at every step.
With over 9 years as an NHS Consultant Rheumatologist and thousands of patients cared for, you can trust in my knowledge and experience.
No two patients are the same. I tailor every plan to your unique symptoms, lifestyle, and long-term health goals.
I use real-time ultrasound scanning to identify inflammation early, guide precise treatments, and monitor progress.
Ultrasound lets me see inflammation inside your joints and tendons in real time. It is safe, does not use radiation, and helps in three key ways:
It brings clarity to diagnosis, guides precise treatment, and gives us quick answers during your appointment.
Ultrasound can show signs of active inflammation even when X‑rays look normal, so we can start the right treatment sooner.
It helps us separate inflammatory arthritis from wear‑and‑tear changes, muscle strain, or tendon problems.
Ultrasound guides injections accurately and tracks whether swelling is settling with treatment, supporting a clear “treat‑to‑target” plan.

Targeted injections can quickly reduce inflammation and ease pain — helping you move more comfortably and recover faster.

Fibromyalgia is real. With the right diagnosis, guidance, and a clear plan, life can feel more manageable.
I take time to listen to your story and map your symptoms — such as widespread pain, fatigue, poor sleep, and brain fog. A detailed examination and simple blood tests help rule out other possible causes.
Many patients feel relieved once they understand what’s happening. I explain fibromyalgia in plain English, helping you feel informed and supported, not dismissed.
Together, we’ll create a realistic plan tailored to your lifestyle. This may include pacing activities, sleep routines, gentle graded exercise, stress and mood support, and medicines when helpful. My focus is always on improving daily function and quality of life.
Alongside rheumatology, I have a strong interest in longevity and preventative medicine. My aim is not only to treat illness, but to help you stay strong, active, and independent for as long as possible.
Support for your bones, joints, and muscles — helping you maintain strength, balance, and independence as you age.
Guidance on sleep, stress, movement, and nutrition, along with safe, evidence-based strategies to reduce inflammation and cardiovascular risk.
Plans built around your individual health risks, family history, and blood results, drawing on the latest insights in longevity and preventative medicine.

Don’t wait for symptoms to worsen. With early diagnosis and personalised treatment, you can protect your joints, reduce pain, and regain quality of life.

I am in the process of registering with the major insurers, so please check with me or your provider to confirm cover before booking.
